About The Position

We are seeking motivated individuals interested in building a long-term career and growing with the company. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding, and highly repetitive warehouse role. The Mail Transport Equipment Service Center (MTESC) manages mail transport equipment, including sacks, trays, pallets, and wheeled containers. In this role, you will sort and inspect equipment for damage, then palletize it for the next shipment.

The scheduled shift is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at a rate of $21.60 per hour. Mandatory overtime may be required. Overtime may be scheduled Monday, Thursday, and Friday, either 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (10-hour shifts), and on Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. if needed.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of warehouse experience is required for consideration.
• Ability to identify parts associated with sorting.
• Ability to identify damaged or non-conforming stock.
• Ability to meet production numbers.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds; the posting also specifies lifting more than 20 pounds and pushing or pulling 40 pounds.
• Ability to work comfortably in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations.
• Enjoys working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with basic math.
• Ability to follow processes and supervisor instructions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Non-nicotine users are preferred.
• Warehouse experience is described as helpful but not required, although the posting also states that at least one year of warehouse experience is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort, and palletize trays, sleeves, bags, pallets, and lids.
