About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Specialist to manage a high volume of customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support through various communication channels. This role involves accurately entering and processing customer orders, responding to inquiries, and maintaining precise records to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service, account support, order processing, or related experience.
  • Experience with order entry, customer support, and purchase order processing.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ERP and/or MRP systems.
  • Background in logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience supporting both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, review, and process customer orders in a timely manner using the order management system.
  • Manage a high volume of customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication while maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach.
  • Provide customers with order status updates, product information, and timely resolution of questions or concerns.
  • Process service parts requests and coordinate necessary information to support customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate order records, customer information, and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting, to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, and other concerns that may impact customer experience.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements and maintaining attention to detail throughout daily operations.
