About The Position
Sunrise Farms is a group of companies with primary focus in the poultry industry, servicing customers in the retail, food service and industrial sectors from hatcheries to "ready to eat" cooking facilities across Canada. They support Canadian farms and invest in the latest equipment and technologies. The company is seeking a full-time Order Clerk for their Shipping department with a schedule of 4am - 12:30pm.
Requirements
- Must be able to do heavy lifting (sorting and restacking of products)
- Must be power jack operator certified
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and be organized
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently
- Must have computer skills to fill out daily inventory reports
Responsibilities
- Picking orders accurate and timely
- Keeping the product in the cooler rotated properly by date
- Informing Production Managers of old products
- Keeping the return rack empty and clean
- Removing product from the production floor to cooler and vice versa
- Processing all returns & N/F
- Cleaning and organizing the cooler and empty garbage cans daily
- Assist order clerks if needed
- Assist shipper if needed and fill out load sheet accurately
- Keep track of products loaded onto trailers for storage and pass list onto Production Managers at end of shift
