Order Builder - Nights
About The Position
As a member of Swire Coca-Cola’s Warehouse team, the Order Builder helps ensure customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so their stores remain fully stocked. The role builds delivery loads by assembling a variety of products onto pallets to fill customer orders for shipment and ensures accurate order fulfillment. Work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse environment using powered industrial trucks and following warehouse safety standards at all times. The position is scheduled for nights, with shifts starting at 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The listed hourly pay is $22.75, and the stated base pay range is $20.53 to $24.15, plus a role-dependent bonus structure. Pay offered depends on geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire.
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; lifting may be repetitive.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- Prior experience using a manual or powered pallet jack or a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Use voice-picking software and powered industrial equipment, such as a pallet jack and/or hand truck, to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallets.
- Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure orders are secure for transport before loading into delivery trucks.
- Stage completed pallets in designated shipping areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance as needed to ensure safe operation.
- Complete required training.
- Restock products in picking areas as needed.
- Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
