About The Position
Nu Image specializes in advanced oral and maxillofacial surgery, offering services including extractions, grafting, periodontics, and dental implant placement. The role includes assisting with consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures; maintaining patient records and surgical spaces; and supporting patient safety and follow-up care. Requirements
- At least 1 year of chairside assisting experience.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- X-ray certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the practice.
Nice To Haves
- Oral surgery and/or periodontics experience.
- IV certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist with consultations, treatments, and surgical preparations.
- Take diagnostic x-rays and ensure proper instrument sterilization.
- Prepare and maintain surgical operatories.
- Monitor vital signs and provide chairside assistance during procedures.
- Accurately chart and document procedures and patient interactions.
- Coordinate with referring providers to ensure surgical safety.
- Provide clear post-operative instructions and follow-up care.
- Maintain CPR/BLS certification and emergency preparedness.
- Manage surgical supplies and maintain inventory.
