About The Position

The Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Architect is responsible for resolving payroll issues and bridging business requirements with technical execution to support accurate wage calculations, tax compliance, and seamless integrations. The role leads end-to-end Oracle Fusion US and global payroll solution design, configuration, compliance, integrations, testing, and go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM implementations.
• 7+ years specializing in Oracle Cloud Payroll across multiple full lifecycle deployments.
• Deep proficiency in Payroll Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Strong mastery of US and global payroll laws, wage attachments, FLSA, and General Ledger reconciliation.
• Active Oracle Cloud Payroll and Oracle Cloud HCM certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or HR.
• Executive stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion US and global payroll solution designs, workshops, and operating models.
• Configure payroll elements, balances, costing, calculation rules, and complex Payroll Fast Formulas.
• Manage federal, state, and local taxation, W-2 and year-end processing, garnishments, and Collective Bargaining Agreements for union and non-union workforces.
• Oversee setup for Core HR, Legal Employers, Payroll Statutory Units, and Tax Reporting Units.
• Direct payroll-to-Finance and General Ledger integrations and third-party vendor connections, including ADP, banks, and benefit providers.
• Lead parallel payroll runs, CRP, UAT, and go-live stabilization.
