About The Position

The Oracle Fusion Solutions Architect drives the design and implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions, maximizing the platform’s capabilities, including automation and AI-driven features. The role aligns solutions with business objectives by optimizing processes across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM modules, emphasizing intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making. Through strategic initiatives, the position supports operational efficiency and innovation across the Oracle ecosystem.

This salary-exempt position designs and implements Oracle Cloud solutions, maps business requirements to functional configurations, and supports seamless process integration. It leads project execution, coordinates with cross-functional teams, conducts testing, mentors team members on Oracle best practices and emerging AI tools, and monitors system metrics to identify opportunities to improve scalability and efficiency.

The position also participates in team development and communication, coordinates work to support best practices, attends team meetings, and helps maintain team cohesion. It supports Simmons’ established operating systems, including quality, security, office environment, company policies, and LEAN, and communicates concerns and improvement ideas. Other duties may be assigned in support of business objectives.

The work is primarily office-based and involves extended computer use, with occasional lifting of light equipment up to 10 pounds. PPE may be required when visiting a facility. Occasional travel for client meetings, Oracle conferences, or implementation sites may be required, up to 20% of the time.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules such as ERP and SCM.
• Expertise in Oracle automation and AI tools, including Oracle AI agents and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Background in ERP consulting, manufacturing, or technology sectors, focused on Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 4 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Business or IT.
• Oracle Cloud certifications in ERP or SCM.
• Military experience is valued; veterans are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle Cloud solutions, mapping business requirements to functional configurations across ERP and SCM modules.
• Use Oracle automation and AI capabilities, including predictive analytics, generative AI, and AI agents, to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and reduce manual tasks.
• Lead project execution, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and conduct testing to ensure system performance and alignment with strategic goals.
• Mentor team members on Oracle best practices and emerging AI tools.
• Monitor system metrics and recommend optimizations for scalability and efficiency.
• Participate in the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinate work to support best practices.
• Attend appropriate team meetings and help foster team cohesion, identifying and raising cohesion issues with the team leader and working with the team to address them.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons’ operating systems, including quality, security, office environment, company policies, and LEAN; communicate concerns and improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
