About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is hiring an OR Tech for its Surgery department in San Dimas, California. The role is a 12-week assignment with a full-time day schedule. The Operating Room Tech prepares sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures, maintains the sterile field during cases, and provides surgeons with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience, for new hires effective April 2014.
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with at least one year of experience; surgical-setting experience is preferred.
- Experience scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties such as GYN, general surgery, and plastics.
- Experience scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, and urology.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- At least one year of OR Tech experience.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of experience is preferred.
- Surgical-setting experience.
