Requirements

Compassionate and clinically confident Optometrist.
Valid Oregon optometry license.
Strong understanding of ophthalmic physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient-centered eye care.
Ability to communicate clearly and build trust with patients of all ages and visual needs.
Comfortable diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions.
Enjoy collaborating with opticians, technicians, scribes, and administrative team members to create a positive, seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered eye care for a diverse patient base.
Conduct thorough eye examinations.
Assess visual acuity and ocular health.
Prescribe corrective lenses.
Create personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, myopia management, and urgent concerns such as corneal abrasions, flashes, and floaters.
Use advanced diagnostic technology, including OCT, HVF, and fundus photography.
Maintain accurate medical records, supporting HIPAA compliance.
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
Collaborate closely with optical, clinical, and administrative team members to deliver a seamless patient experience.
