About The Position

Vision Health is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its established, patient-focused practice in Tumwater, Washington. The role offers full-scope optometry with a diverse range of clinical specialties in a professionally managed, well-supported environment. It is a full-time position with a consistent, balanced schedule, a steady patient demand, a modern clinical workflow, and experienced support staff.

The clinical work includes primary care and medical optometry, ocular disease management, dry eye diagnosis and treatment, pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery, and contact lens fittings, including specialty lenses. There is also an opportunity to expand into areas of clinical interest. The practice emphasizes quality patient care, clinical autonomy, teamwork, and efficient, consistent systems.

Requirements

• Be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in Washington.
• Have an interest in practicing medical optometry and expanding clinical skills.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills.
• Have a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care and medical optometry.
• Manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye.
• Diagnose and treat dry eye using established protocols.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery.
• Perform contact lens fittings, including specialty lenses.
• Expand clinical practice into areas of interest.
