About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms. The role delivers customer service, drives sales, and helps create a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and support of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. The position includes a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products. It is seasonal and does not include medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by applicable state or federal laws. The work takes place in a high-traffic retail mall environment that can become busier during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may encounter varying temperatures, weather conditions, and occasional hazards. Local travel to other store locations may be required. The job description may be modified to meet company or operational needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to customer concerns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform tasks involving walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Drive sales by engaging customers and showcasing products.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide service that supports customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash-handling policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain safety awareness, follow safety protocols, and promptly report injuries, hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining energy and enthusiasm while on duty.
- Follow dress-code standards and wear the provided apron at all times.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
