About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Sales Associates proactively engage customers, maintain in-depth product knowledge, and work toward personal and team sales goals while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. This position reports to the Seasonal Store Manager. It is performed in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may encounter varying temperatures, weather conditions, and occasional hazards. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional Sales Associates are needed. The position is seasonal and pays $17.00–$18.50 per hour. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products; the role is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by law.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform continuous movement, walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Actively engage customers, showcase products, and drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide outstanding service to support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash handling and loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain safety awareness and follow safety protocols.
- Immediately report injuries, safety hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow dress code standards and wear the provided apron at all times.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
