About The Position

Dr. Diana Donch, OD is hiring a full-time Optometrist for its practice in Cochranton, Pennsylvania. The role offers long-term career growth and potential future ownership. The Optometrist will work with opticians and administrative professionals in a collaborative setting, typically seeing one patient per hour. The position requires at least 36 working hours per week, with the option to work additional hours.

Requirements

Hold an optometry license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Be capable of managing patients ranging from 9 months old through end of life.
Have experience in cataract co-management.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
Be able to work a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate optometric care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Perform routine eye examinations, including examinations for children.
Address age-related vision changes and manage complex eye conditions.
Conduct examinations and develop customized treatment plans using available diagnostic technology.
Provide or support services including glasses and contact lens fittings, foreign body removals, Plaquenil and glaucoma testing, and comprehensive diabetic eye examinations.
Participate in cataract co-management.
Collaborate with opticians and administrative professionals to provide smooth, high-quality patient care.
