About The Position

Eye Designs Optometry is seeking an Optometric Technician to support optometrists and help deliver high-quality patient care at its Citrus Heights location. The technician assists patients throughout their visit, from pre-screening and diagnostic testing through post-exam follow-up, and helps create a smooth, positive patient experience. The role also involves patient education, contact lens training, insurance verification, scheduling, and coordinating office communications. Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to educate and connect with patients.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A team-oriented approach, passion for self-improvement, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to document patient exams and procedures accurately.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules as needed.
• A proactive attitude toward team success.

• Optometric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists in delivering patient care from pre-screening through post-exam follow-up.
