About The Position

Eye Pieces is hiring an Optical Sales Associate for its Vail Valley locations. This customer-focused role combines fashion, wellness, retail, and outdoor lifestyle, offering hands-on experience in a luxury optical retail environment. The associate helps guests select eyewear suited to their vision needs and personal style, supports fittings and dispensing, and helps maintain an attractive and welcoming showroom. The role also includes learning about prescription eyewear, supporting inventory and merchandising, and working with opticians, managers, and support teams to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent guest experiences. The position is full-time seasonal, based at Eye Pieces in Vail, Colorado. A flexible schedule is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $20–$27 per hour, with commissions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elevated customer service through personalized frame and lens recommendations tailored to each guest’s needs and lifestyle.
• Assist with eyewear fittings, adjustments, and dispensing while ensuring accuracy and comfort.
• Support inventory processes, including receiving, restocking, organization, and product tracking.
• Maintain a clean, visually appealing showroom that highlights featured collections and current trends.
• Partner with opticians, managers, and support teams to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Stay informed about new eyewear collections, lens technology, and industry trends through ongoing learning and development.
