About The Position

Eye Pieces is hiring an Optical Sales Associate for its Vail Valley locations. This customer-focused role combines fashion, wellness, retail, and outdoor lifestyle. The associate helps guests choose eyewear suited to their vision needs and personal style while maintaining a polished, welcoming showroom. The position includes hands-on learning about prescription eyewear, fittings, merchandising, and inventory in a luxury retail environment. The role is based at Eye Pieces in Vail, Colorado. It is full-time, year-round, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The pay rate is $20–$27 per hour with commissions. Responsibilities

Provide personalized frame and lens recommendations based on each guest’s needs and lifestyle.
Assist with eyewear fittings, adjustments, and dispensing, ensuring accuracy and comfort.
Support inventory processes, including receiving, restocking, organization, and product tracking.
Maintain a clean, visually appealing showroom that highlights featured collections and current trends.
Partner with opticians, managers, and support teams to support daily operations and guest experiences.
Stay informed about eyewear collections, lens technology, and industry trends through ongoing learning and development.
