An OPS Research Assistant in Chemical Biology position is available for individuals with a background in Chemistry or Biology to work on a project focused on novel spatial omics platform development, led by Dr. Fan Hong in the Department of Chemistry. The role involves two main areas: (1) developing advanced DNA imaging methods for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics, and (2) applying these developed methods to translational research for studying Alzheimer's and cancer diseases. This position is initially awarded for one year and may be renewed for up to one to three additional years, contingent upon strong performance, conduct, and availability of funds.
