About The Position

An OPS Research Assistant in Chemical Biology position is available for individuals with a background in Chemistry or Biology to work on a project focused on novel spatial omics platform development, led by Dr. Fan Hong in the Department of Chemistry. The role involves developing advanced DNA imaging methods for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics, and applying these methods to translational research for studying Alzheimer's and cancer diseases. This position is initially for one year and may be renewed for up to three years based on performance and funding availability.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry or a biological science-related field.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
