About The Position

This position assists the Research Regulatory Specialist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval functions, including the creation of approval letters. The role involves maintaining communication with Principal Investigators regarding the status of pending protocols and reviews, assisting with problem-solving study team issues where feasible, and acting as a liaison between reviewers and principal investigators. Responsibilities also include answering phones, emails, and Salesforce inquiries, generating correspondence regarding research protocols, and evaluating IRB proposals. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience
  • Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
