About The Position
The State Attorney's Office, 15th Judicial Circuit, is currently accepting applications for an OPS INTAKE CLERK. This is a Part-Time position at our Criminal Justice Complex satellite office working weekends and some holidays from 6:00 am – 2:00 pm. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour and does not include State benefits. THIS IS AN AT WILL POSITION. Applicants should submit a resume and complete the online application process through the State of Florida job site. This position is responsible for opening cases and ensuring case files are prepared for the daily docket. Applicants should be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. An applicant must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and adapt to changing situations as well as exhibit a willingness to perform other tasks as assigned. The successful candidate will be ready to work as part of a team and also be capable of independent judgment.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or equivalency
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Demonstrate the ability to type and enter data accurately
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Detail oriented
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to adapt to changing situations
- Willingness to perform other tasks as assigned
- Capable of independent judgment
- Must pass background records check and fingerprinting
- Required to complete the Form I-9 and that information will be verified using the E-Verify system
