This position is a highly independent and professional role located on the Strategic Planning Services (SPS) team within the Division Director’s Office. As a Strategy Coordinator within the Division of Medical Quality Assurance (MQA), you are responsible for planning, delivering, tracking, and reporting on strategic activities to ensure MQA teams meet its regulatory efficiency and public protection goals efficiently and effectively. This position will also contribute to statewide initiatives for health care applicants, practitioners, and consumers and promote information-sharing throughout MQA by participating in workgroups, recording best practices, and developing communication and training material. MQA regulates health care practitioners and facilities through professional licensure, facility permitting, and administrative enforcement in order to preserve the health, safety, and welfare of the public. The ideal candidate for this role will have a project management approach to their work, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to toggle between big picture ideas, grounded work, and administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will be able to take a big idea, translate it into actionable plans, and illustrate the organizational/customer impact of the work while building agendas and serving as a hub for administrative and coordination work.
