About The Position

Flex-N-Gate is hiring an Operator for its midnight shift. This entry-level manufacturing role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the company. Operators follow work orders and instructions, handle and prepare parts for painting, monitor quality, process scanned and labeled parts, and pack products for shipping. The work takes place in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and involves standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

Read work orders and instructions to determine material requirements and product specifications.
Load and unload parts on jigs while the production line is running.
Monitor the schedule to ensure the correct parts are loaded.
Wipe down and prepare parts to be painted.
Check for quality defects, remove defective parts, and document them.
Ensure parts are set up correctly for painting.
Remove painted parts from the line and place them in crates.
Select parts to be scanned and labeled.
Scan parts and enter information into the computer system.
Pack and label boxes accurately for shipping.
Record operational or production data.
Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas.
Clean production equipment and work areas.
