About The Position

The Operator works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following work orders and instructions to determine material needs and product specifications. The role includes loading, preparing, inspecting, painting, scanning, packing, labeling, and moving parts and materials, as well as recording production data and cleaning equipment and work areas. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the company. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

Read work orders and instructions to determine material requirements and product specifications.
Load and unload parts on jigs while the line is running.
Monitor the schedule to ensure the correct parts are loaded.
Wipe down and prepare parts to be painted.
Check for quality defects, remove defective parts, and document them.
Ensure parts are set up correctly for painting.
Remove painted parts from the line and place them in crates.
Select parts to be scanned and labeled.
Scan parts and enter information into the computer system.
Pack and label boxes accurately for shipping.
Record operational or production data.
Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas.
Clean production equipment and work areas.
