About The Position

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a motivated and skilled Operator to join its Grain Operations team. The Operator assists with grain elevator operations and ensures trucks and trains are properly loaded. The role involves grain handling, equipment operation, facility inspection and maintenance, monitoring and recording operational data, customer service, and compliance with safety requirements. Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varied weather and noisy conditions, including elevated areas and confined spaces.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, using personal protective equipment including a respirator.
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, or different shifts.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and equipment and execute grain-handling processes, including loading and unloading trucks and railcars, filling or reclaiming ground piles, transferring grain, and blending.
Operate bobcats, loaders, and tractors.
Inspect facility buildings, grounds, and equipment; troubleshoot issues; perform light maintenance and repairs.
Monitor equipment and operate control systems, process samples, and use computer systems to enter and record data as needed.
Interact with customers, peers, and management to provide customer service, improve facility operations, and promote teamwork.
Follow safety regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures, including OSHA regulations, vehicle and fleet safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
