Operator Level 1 - Reclaim Apprentice
About The Position
As a Reclaim Apprentice, you will support the reclaim process across all transmission families while learning core reclaim skills. You will work under supervision and contribute to daily tasks such as part-cleaning, teardown, and moving materials between workstations. This position may be located in the administrative section of a manufacturing facility. The work environment includes exposure to a variety of smells from the manufacturing process and moderate noise from the manufacturing area. Eye protection and steel-toed footwear are required when entering the manufacturing floor. Before hire, employees in this role are subject to a background check and may undergo for-cause and/or reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions and standard work under direct supervision.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Develop hands-on mechanical skills and process knowledge.
- Seek help and ask questions to build expertise.
- Support team goals and demonstrate ETE Core Values.
- Perform daily reclaim tasks such as part-cleaning, teardown, and moving materials between workstations.
