About The Position

The Operations Trainer is part of the Learning Center of Excellence and prepares new and existing employees to perform their work safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The trainer delivers classroom instruction, simulations, and hands-on learning to build employees’ skills and confidence for production-floor work. This position is based at the Electrolux plant in Springfield, Tennessee.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience at Electrolux.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups.
• Basic knowledge of EMS tools and continuous improvement concepts.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience training, coaching, or mentoring others, either inside or outside the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-hire orientation, onboarding classes, and on-the-job training.
• Operate and maintain the Training Center to simulate real production processes and provide hands-on practice.
• Deliver required Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) training in alignment with OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
• Deliver quality training, including Standard Work (JDS), defect detection, and QCP.
• Train and certify new and current employees in Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), cranes, and aerial lifts for licensing.
• Train and certify new and current employees to operate their workstations in accordance with standards (JDS).
• Maintain accurate records for all courses and certifications.
• Follow up with new employees during their first 30 days to support their transition into their roles.
