About The Position

The Nano Room Operator weighs ingredients according to written standard operating procedures for the Effingham Premix operation. The role involves accurately weighing and verifying materials, identifying micro tubs, maintaining inventory and stock, and following housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices, and quality policies.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Attention to detail and demonstrated computer proficiency.
Basic math and reading skills.
Proficiency in all areas of the micro room.
Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

Weigh materials listed on the computer prompter.
Verify that components and amounts are correct when a batch is completed.
Ensure micro tubs have the correct identification placards.
Complete Movement Sheets to request materials needed in the micro room and nano room.
Occasionally gather warehouse materials to replenish nano room stock.
Check scale weights at the beginning and end of each shift.
Conduct daily inventory of specified ingredients.
Keep the work area clean and complete listed housekeeping duties.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Procedures and quality policies.
