About The Position
The Operator I operates packaging equipment and performs packaging-line tasks, including manual case labeling, visual inspections, bundling, cartoning, labeling, cleaning, line clearances, and documentation. The role is based in Tampa, Florida, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good documentation and math skills.
- Detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Operate automated and manual packaging-line equipment.
- Maintain the production area and perform line clearances to prevent cross-contamination.
- Clean packaging lines after each production run.
- Maintain OEE through system entries and adherence to standards.
- Accurately and promptly document activities and operations in batch records.
- Complete required annual training, including SOP, EHS, and HR training.
- Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
- Maintain GMP, ISO, and EHS awareness and compliance in the assigned area.
- Participate in operational excellence improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and OEE improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
