About The Position

The Operator I performs basic proficient operation of packaging equipment and packaging-line activities, including manual case labeling, visual inspections, bundling, cartoning, labeling, cleaning, line clearances, and documentation. The role operates automated and manual packaging equipment while maintaining the production area to prevent cross-contamination and ensuring activities are recorded accurately and on time in batch records. The operator supports production performance, training, operational excellence, and environmental, health, and safety initiatives, and follows applicable GMP, ISO, and EHS requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
• Good documentation and math skills.
• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual packaging line equipment.
• Perform manual case labeling, visual inspections, bundling, cartoning, and labeling.
• Maintain the production area to prevent cross-contamination through line clearance.
• Clean packaging lines after each run and perform line clearance.
• Maintain OEE through system entry and adherence to standards.
• Document activities and operations correctly and on time in the batch record.
• Complete and maintain required annual training, including SOP, EHS, and HR training.
• Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
• Maintain GMP, ISO, and EHS awareness and compliance within the assigned area.
• Participate in OpEx improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and OEE improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
