About The Position

This role is part of Alcon’s Supply Chain function, which manages logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics to ensure products are delivered efficiently. The Operator I, Warehouse & Distribution Operations role handles tasks in warehouses and distribution centers, optimizes storage and material flows, manages inventory and shipments, and operates equipment while following established procedures. The position follows GxP regulations and standard operating procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. The position is onsite in Johns Creek, Georgia, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Travel is 0–10%. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Handle manual or operational tasks in warehouses and distribution centers to support smooth and efficient processes.
Optimize storage space and material flows while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Manage inventory and coordinate shipments.
Operate equipment, which may require certification.
Follow established procedures with minimal decision-making authority.
Follow GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation.
Ensure rigorous quality control and reliability in all tasks.
Complete required training and contribute to compliance and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and learnings as work evolves.
