Operator I, Warehouse & Distribution (2nd shift)
About The Position
This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, which manages logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics to ensure products are delivered efficiently. The Operator I, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path) handles warehouse and distribution center tasks, optimizes storage and material flows, and manages inventory and shipments. The role operates equipment, which may require certification, and follows established procedures with minimal decision-making authority. The position is onsite in Johns Creek, Georgia, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Travel is 0–10%. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Handle manual or operational tasks within warehouses and distribution centers to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Optimize storage space and material flows while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Manage inventory and coordinate shipments.
- Operate equipment, which may require certification.
- Follow established procedures with minimal decision-making authority.
- Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation.
- Ensure rigorous quality control and reliability in all tasks.
- Complete all required training and contribute to compliance and continuous improvement.
