About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 2, Bakery-Production-3rd Shift to join its bakery in Cayce, South Carolina. The role operates and adjusts automated production and packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. It supports efficient production flow, equipment performance, and bakery operations. The schedule is third shift, 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Strong communication and observational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in food manufacturing environments.
Basic computer skills.
Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Perform equipment setup and changeovers to support production schedules and product requirements.
Maintain accurate production records and operational documentation.
Follow food safety, quality, GMP, and workplace safety standards.
Rotate across manufacturing and packaging areas as needed to support production operations.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
