About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 2, Bakery to join its Cayce, South Carolina bakery. The role operates and adjusts bakery production equipment to support efficient production while ensuring products meet quality, food safety, and production standards. It helps maintain production flow, support equipment performance, and deliver high-quality baked goods. This is a third-shift role with required weekend availability.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Basic equipment troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
Familiarity with automated production equipment.
Basic computer proficiency.
Experience working with production schedules, changeovers, and run orders.

Responsibilities

Operate and adjust bakery production equipment to support efficient and reliable production operations.
Monitor product quality and food safety standards to ensure compliance with company requirements.
Complete production records and operational documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP standards.
Troubleshoot and communicate equipment or production issues to support operational continuity.
Support equipment startups, changeovers, and daily production activities.
Follow established recipes, processes, and GMP requirements to ensure product consistency.
