About The Position
The Palletizer Operator operates the palletizer associated with the assigned production line efficiently. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining close attention to detail, and adapting to frequent changes. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is based in Seabrook, New Jersey. The starting hourly rate is $21.67, with a $0.45 shift differential for third shift. Medical insurance is offered through Local Union 152.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of palletizer operator training.
- Proficiency in size changeovers, minor maintenance adjustments, and preventative maintenance of the palletizer and stretch wrapper.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a production setting and meet the physical requirements described, including lifting up to 50 pounds and operating machinery and equipment.
- Ability to perform confined entry using the LOTO program.

Responsibilities
- Follow proper operation procedures for safety switches, interlocks, and other safety devices.
- Start and stop the palletizer properly.
- Operate mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic machine controls.
- Perform code changes.
- Monitor case pattern formation on the palletizer.
- Change rolls of stretch wrap.
- Clear jams, re-sequence the palletizer, and replace fallen cartons.
- Change codes in the tagger computer.
- Coordinate with the line driver to ensure the correct pallets are available to the pallet dispenser.
- Operate the palletizer proficiently and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of its HMI touch screen.
- Maintain awareness of all safety procedures.
- Complete required documentation.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
