About The Position

Reporting to the Field Learning Associate Manager, the Operations Trainer oversees daily training activities within the distribution center (DC). The role helps manage training requests from the business, delivers classroom and on-the-job training, and provides one-on-one coaching to DC associates. Working alongside cross-functional DC teams, the Trainer helps implement training products and support process improvements. The position suits someone who enjoys problem solving and developing others in an ambiguous, fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Experience using Google Business Suite.
• Basic computer and tablet proficiency, including email.

Nice To Haves

• Training in Powered Industrial Equipment to the latest OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote food safety, quality, and a safety-first culture through training and development activities within the DC.
• Train, cross-train, and retrain Training Ambassadors, Associates, and Frontline Leaders using standard methods, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training (OJT), and Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT) practical training.
• Assist the Training Specialist in monitoring training requests and scheduling training to accommodate requests within the DC.
• Support change management for new training products and process improvement initiatives.
• Observe and provide feedback to Training Ambassadors and new associates to support their development.
• Coordinate training, including scheduling sessions and recording completion.
• Share best practices with other Trainers and Training Ambassadors within the DC.
• Communicate or escalate issues through appropriate channels, working with multiple leaders to resolve them.
• Conduct DC tours for new associates and frontline leaders.
• Promote a positive team dynamic that encourages questions, feedback, adaptability, and focus on the customer experience.
