About The Position

At Osmow's, we’re on an exciting journey to take our brand to new heights! As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a highly motivated Operations Support Specialist to support our multi-unit franchised QSR organization. This role is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and delivery of training and operational support materials across restaurant systems. This role ensures that learning content, operational tools, and communications are clear, consistent, and effectively enable restaurant teams to execute brand standards. Working closely with the Learning and Development team, this position plays a key role in building engaging training resources, managing digital learning platforms, and supporting operational rollouts to drive consistency, efficiency, and overall team performance across all locations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, training, learning & development, or a related restaurant/QSR environment
  • Experience using e-learning and content development tools such as Articulate 360, Canva, World Manager, or similar platforms
  • Strong ability to design, develop, and maintain engaging training materials and operational support content
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with high attention to detail and clarity in written and visual content
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, franchise partners, and external vendors
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and systems, with a strong aptitude for learning new software and platforms quickly
  • Basic understanding of restaurant operations is an asset
  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate operational needs into clear, engaging learning content

Responsibilities

  • Manage restaurant operating systems, including training and development platforms, audit systems, restaurant checklists, and mystery shop reporting
  • Develop and maintain training materials using e-learning tools and platforms
  • Design and build structured training courses to support operational rollouts and ongoing team development
  • Create and maintain instructional resources, including recipes, SOPs, and visual guides (e.g., using Canva)
  • Produce training content, including filming, editing, and finalizing videos, as well as capturing photo and video assets to support learning materials
  • Ensure all training content is clearly organized, consistent, and easy to understand for restaurant teams
  • Maintain and update nutrition information for menu items as required
  • Coordinate webinars, including moderation and content support
  • Gather operational updates and distribute weekly communications to relevant stakeholders
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
