About The Position

The Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager is not onsite, the supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed. The role oversees store crew activities, communicates with management and colleagues, helps resolve customer concerns, reinforces CVS’s customer-service culture, and supports merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, signage, and inventory.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early-morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew activities by assigning, directing, and following up on work.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer-service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer-relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Give colleagues personalized customer-service feedback and coaching.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Support planning, execution, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Lead the store when a manager is not onsite and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
