About The Position
An Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising store crews, handling customer relations, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and supporting merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, signage, and inventory.
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
- Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Provide colleagues with personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
- Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
- Price merchandise and stock shelves.
- Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
- Support planning, execution, display, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
- Lead the store when a manager is not onsite and ensure store operations and opening and closing procedures are completed.
