Operations Supervisor - Distribution
About The Position
As an Operations Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses. You will implement processes to optimize warehouse operations and guide frontline associates while fostering a safe and productive work environment. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to DHL Supply Chain’s operations and reputation as a global leader in contract logistics. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, employs over 50,000 associates, and manages over 150 million square feet of warehouse space. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of operations experience in a lead, supervisor, or management role preferred.
- At least 1 year of logistics industry experience preferred.
- Staff management, workload planning, objective setting, and organizational skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of frontline associates through coaching, guidance, and support, while fostering inclusion and belonging.
- Uphold health and safety regulations and promote heightened safety awareness.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide management with regular reports and analysis on achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Promote open communication and collaboration through regular, effective dialogue among leadership and associates.
