About The Position

An Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and ensures completion of all opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience as a retail supervisor.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Provide colleagues with personalized customer service feedback and coaching, including through myImpact coaching, myCustomer feedback, and personal observations.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise and stock shelves.
Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Support planning, execution, display, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
Lead the store and supervisory staff when a manager is not onsite, keep store operations running smoothly, and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
