About The Position

The Operations Supervisor supports warehouse operations at DHL Supply Chain, helping ensure smooth and efficient operations and implementing processes to optimize warehouse performance. The role leads, motivates, and develops frontline associates, supports a safe and productive workplace, and contributes to the overall success of the organization. The schedule is flexible, with a primary mid-shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The supervisor also provides coverage for other supervisors during planned vacations, absences, and peak operational periods. The organization has a business-casual environment focused on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 1 year of operations experience in a lead, supervisor, or management role; preferred.
At least 1 year of logistics industry experience; preferred.
Staff management, workload planning, objective setting, and organizational skills; preferred.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in a Quality, Quality Assurance, or Continuous Improvement environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop frontline associates through coaching, guidance, and support, while fostering an inclusive team culture.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote heightened safety awareness.
Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Provide management with regular reports and analysis on achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improving warehouse operations.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Provide coverage for other supervisors during planned vacations, absences, and peak operational periods.
