About The Position

An Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager is not onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and ensures that all opening and closing procedures are completed.

The role involves supervising store crews and coordinating activities, communicating with management and crew members, assisting customers and resolving customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and promoting a positive shopping experience. The supervisor also supports merchandise pricing, stocking, and the planning and execution of promotional, seasonal, and off-shelf displays and inventory.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew members by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service practices, including greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Provide colleagues with personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Support planning, execution, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Lead store and supervisory staff when a manager is not onsite, ensure smooth store operations, and complete opening and closing procedures.
