About The Position

GXO is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and bring out the best in the team. The supervisor ensures efficient warehouse operations, schedules work, trains and coaches employees, monitors quality and customer service, and implements continuous improvement plans. The role is on the weekend third shift, Thursday through Sunday, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Availability for a flexible schedule and planned or unplanned overtime, which may include weekends, is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to reach (including above the head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse.
• Prepare schedules.
