Operations Supervisor
About The Position
An Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and ensures completion of all opening and closing procedures. The role supervises store crew activities, communicates with management and colleagues, assists customers and handles customer relations issues in accordance with company policy. It also supports merchandise pricing, stocking, promotional and seasonal displays, signage, inventory, and off-shelf merchandise presentation.
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
- Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
- Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Provide colleagues personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
- Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
- Price merchandise and stock shelves.
- Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
- Support planning, execution, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise displays.
- Lead the store and supervisory staff when a manager is not onsite.
- Ensure smooth store operations and completion of opening and closing procedures.
