About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager is not onsite, the supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures opening and closing procedures are completed.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, work overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Provide colleagues with personalized customer-service feedback and coaching.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Support planning, execution, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Lead store operations and supervisory staff when a manager is not onsite.
• Ensure completion of store opening and closing procedures.
