About The Position

As an Operations Supervisor at Lowe’s, you will lead supply chain operations while maintaining a secure work environment and building a culture of safety. The role requires adaptability, quick decision-making, and a commitment to operational efficiency. You will coordinate day-to-day activities to support smooth workflows, prompt deliveries, and cost-effective practices.

Safety is a core value of the role. You will ensure associates follow applicable policies, regulations, and safety procedures through regular training and prompt resolution of concerns. You will also communicate workload plans, engage with associates, collaborate with other teams, and oversee task allocation and production to improve workflow and supply chain performance.

The role requires a set schedule that management may change to meet facility needs. Depending on those needs, work may be scheduled in the mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments, varying climates, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting requirements vary; single lifts are limited to 70 pounds, with team lifts used minimally starting at 70 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or a related area, or a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead operations associates in receiving, order-fill, shipping, and supporting tasks.
• Monitor production volume and allocate tasks to support optimal workflow and performance.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and promptly address safety concerns.
• Respond to changing workflow conditions and make real-time decisions.
• Resolve operational issues to minimize supply chain disruptions.
• Communicate business objectives, daily workload plans, and performance expectations.
• Provide support and guidance to associates through associate relations issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance.
