The Night Operations Department Supervisor leads overnight back-end operations, ensuring receiving, stocking, product assembly, freight flow, area recovery, and delivery staging are completed efficiently and safely. The supervisor helps ensure store operations do not interfere with customers’ ability to shop, and that shelves and top stock are replenished, products are presented according to planograms, and aisles remain clear and orderly. During the overnight shift, this manager is often the only key-carrying manager in the building. The role provides team leadership through assigning and redeploying staff, coaching and feedback, associate development, recognition, and addressing team concerns. It also supports operational performance, safety, security, shrink prevention, and continuous improvement. As Manager-on-Duty, the supervisor provides leadership across the store, supports customer service and staffing, observes and coaches associates, responds to call buttons, keeps aisles safe, and hands off observations to the next MOD. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent years of experience where applicable), five years of retail experience, and experience directing or supervising teams. The role also requires experience supporting associate training and development, cross-functional collaboration, and use of Microsoft Office Suite. Pay is $20.70–$22.35 per hour; starting pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
