About The Position

The Operations Supervisor – Night Shift is a confident, people-focused manufacturing leader who enjoys developing employees, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. This role leads by example, makes sound decisions under pressure, and maintains a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll lead and motivate operations employees while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations during the night shift. You’ll play a critical role in sustaining Mennel’s legacy of excellence and supporting our food safety mission.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of operations or manufacturing experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Strong decision-making, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physical manufacturing environment and work night shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or Supply Chain preferred
  • 5 years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and developing operations employees to achieve outstanding manufacturing results
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety, quality, sanitation, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and FSMA requirements while maintaining an everyday audit-ready facility
  • Managing daily staffing and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and system utilization
  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting manufacturing performance related to cost, quality, safety, sanitation, and customer service
  • Serving as a technical and business resource for system operations and product requirements
  • Identifying manufacturing process failures, determining root causes, and driving corrective actions
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement using Lean/TPM principles
  • Providing performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary
