About The Position

Peak Resources is seeking a full-time RN Supervisor to join its team at Peak Resources Pinelake. The organization provides skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living services at locations across North Carolina, with a focus on residents’ well-being and happiness. The RN Supervisor directs the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and licensed personnel in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, facility policies, procedures, and guidelines. Under the scope of practice, the Registered Nurse may initiate and implement health care plans and perform other nursing duties. RN practice encompasses the full nursing process and is independent and comprehensive. Infrequent travel within North Carolina may be required.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Compensation is listed as $42 plus shift differential. Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, and participation in the company 401(k) retirement plan.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state.
• Current BLS CPR certification, including an in-person skills assessment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of nursing supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement health care plans and perform other nursing duties within the RN scope of practice.
• Participate in all steps of the nursing process through independent and comprehensive nursing practice.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and licensed personnel.
• Ensure nursing operations comply with current rules and regulations and the facility’s written policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Travel within North Carolina when required; travel is infrequent.
