This position as an Operations Strategy and Modernization Analyst supports the Air Force Civil Engineering Directorate (A4C). This person will support the execution of Civil Engineer Operations initiatives, to include the AF/A4C Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP), by coordinating enterprise initiatives, integrating cross-functional efforts, and monitoring progress toward strategic objectives. Coordinates actions across Headquarters Air Force, AFCEC, AFIMSC, MAJCOMs, and installation stakeholders to advance enterprise priorities related to Civil Engineer Operations governance, infrastructure modernization, enterprise asset management, engineering standards, and installation readiness. Supports development of implementation plans, performance measures, executive briefings, and strategic recommendations that improve operational effectiveness across the Department of the Air Force. The ideal candidate must be able to link tactical shop activities (preventive maintenance, material control, craft execution) to USAF strategic initiatives and the A4C Strategic Plan. This role bridges the gap between tactical base-level execution and Headquarters-level policy development, ensuring the core program areas of the Operations Flight are standardizing business processes, meeting statutory asset management requirements, and maintaining combat-readiness.
